Ingredients:

  • Jowar Flour, 2 Cups
  • Paneer, 200g
  • Warm Water, 250ml
  • Salt, to taste
  • Red Chilli Powder, 1 Tsp
  • Jeera Powder, 1/2 Tsp
  • Garam Masala, 1/2 Tsp

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Paneer Paste: In a mixer, add paneer, spices (Red Chilli Powder, Jeera Powder, Garam Masala), salt, and a little water as required to make a smooth paste.

  2. Mix the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the paneer paste and Jowar Flour. Gradually add warm water and mix to form a soft dough.

  3. Knead and Rest: Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

  4. Divide and Roll: Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten using your hands or a rolling pin.

  5. Cook the Rotis: Heat a tawa (griddle) on medium to high flame. Cook each roti on the tawa until golden brown spots appear on both sides, flipping occasionally.

  6. Grease with Ghee: Once cooked, grease the rotis with a little homemade desi ghee for added flavor and softness.
